  • Decorates the curbs
  • In containers on verandas or gazebos,
  • On the shores of reservoirs.

Additional Information. Growing heuchera will not be difficult even for beginners - it feels great both in the sun and in the shade, and is frost-resistant. Reproduction takes place by seeds, cuttings or dividing the bush.

What problems can you face

As a rule, gardeners do not have any special problems with geyhers. Poor shrub growth may be the most common problem. In such cases, it is recommended to change the planting site, try partial shade or planting on stones on which the culture is actively developing. You can take care of feeding the soil, introduce compost into it.

If you take proper care of the flower, there will be no problems with it. The culture needs rejuvenation and division of the bush. Therefore, when the roots grow strongly, and the foliage begins to dry, it is worth taking care of a transplant.

Note! Not all plant species love the same growing conditions. For example, its color determines what kind of lighting is required. It is better for a novice gardener to choose a green leaf shade. It will not fade in the sun, and it will not wither in the shade.

Diseases and pests

For the Heuchera plant, important care conditions are:

  • Loosening the soil,
  • Introduction of the required amount of top dressing, no more.

In this case, the flower will not hurt and weaken.

In rare cases, powdery mildew appears on the leaves, and rot on the rhizomes. It is worth digging up the plant, treating it completely with a fungicide and replanting. Of the pests on the leaf, there are snails, slugs, caterpillars. In the fight against them, insecticides are used.

A magnificent scattering of patterns and veins, spots and lines on the foliage - such an unusual Heuchera. The fact that it can change color during the growing season makes it a real highlight among all the plants in the garden.
